Our Mission
Honey's Heart: Animal Handling with Heart was started in 2003 by
AmberJoy Leonard and in 2009 became a collectively owned and operated
company. It is our mission to provide care for animals that far
exceeds the normal standards and expectations people have in the dog
service industry. We offer a professional yet relaxed training
environment, boarding space and playgroups that are catered to dogs of
all sizes, breeds and backgrounds. Honey's Heart is committed to
serving the San Francisco community and often rescues, fosters and
finds homes for animals in need. We at Honey's Heart continually
strive to make sure that every client is comfortable and confident
that their dogs receive the absolute best care and training we have to
offer. Whether it be training, boarding, playgroups, day care, or
house-sitting we give it our whole heart. We are proud to be supported
by an amazing staff of caring & dedicated people.

caring for animals is apparent in all he does for Honey's Heart. He
has rapidly become one of the best dog walkers around as he
communicates with each of the dogs like they are his very own. His
great attitude and endless energy, along with an amazing work ethic
